The main goal of the game is to gain the most points in two out of three rounds. The three round structure ensures that no combination of cards, regardless of how devastating, can win the game on its own. Players are forced to develop separate strategies for all three rounds, so that clever gameplay—rather than lucky draws—win games.

Wizard Wars is currently in beta. Card abilities are being developed and tested, and decks are not yet available to the general public. If you're reading this page, you might have been invited to one of several closed-door testing sessions, in which case decks will be provided. If not, know that we are working hard to develop Wizard Wars, and decks will be available soon!
Yes.
In this world, five great factions vie for power, each drawing upon its own people, resources, and peculiar traditions. Ancient forests, sprawling cities, storm-tossed seas, shadowy criminal empires, and fire-forged kingdoms all collide in a struggle where clever planning can be just as important as raw strength.
Each deck is built around one of these five factions:
Avalon: A nature-driven faction built around equal parts growth, diversity, and aggression, with substantial utility and powerful finishers.
Discover more:
Metropolis: A faction of steampunk elves and their mechanical marvels, preferring utility and countermeasures over direct assault.
Discover more:
Thalassa: A seafaring faction built around Ships, Pirates, and Warriors. Best for players who favor direct frontal assault without subtlety.
Discover more:
Transylvania: Transylvania – A chaotic criminal underworld where vampires, mobsters, and slayers operate in uneasy cooperation. Excels at taking apart the opponent’s strategy before it can develop.
Discover more:
Vulcania: A faction of dwarven industry, drunken revelry, and fiery dragons. Prioritizes greedy strategies and defense, with limited offensive resources.

Your choice of faction will shape the way you play, but no faction is limited to a single strategy. Learning when to press an advantage, when to conserve your resources, and when to disrupt your opponent's plans is essential to mastering Wizard Wars. As you become familiar with the cards at your disposal, you'll discover combinations, tactics, and unexpected interactions that allow you to put your own spin on your faction's strengths.
(Yes there are wizards.)
In Wizard Wars, each deck is commanded by a Wizard, a powerful leader card that is available to play when needed. Wizards aren't just pawns on the battlefield—they are the real powers behind the throne, guiding their chosen faction to victory through subterfuge, trickery, and (of course) powerful magic.
There are 10 Wizard cards to collect in total:

Discover more:
